Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
Last updated June 12, 2026
This policy covers asc.news and the ASC News email briefing.
What we collect
Email address — when you subscribe to the briefing or request Pro early access. It’s stored with our email service provider (Beehiiv) and used to send you the content you asked for. We record the page you signed up from and, where present, campaign parameters, so we know what’s working.
Usage analytics — we use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, signup conversions). We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent any personal data to anyone.
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops all sends; we don’t re-add addresses.
Your choices
Want your data deleted — email address, analytics history, all of it? Write to hello@asc.news with the subject Privacy and we’ll remove it from our systems and our processors within 30 days.
Third parties
We share data only with the processors that run the product: Beehiiv (email delivery), Vercel (site hosting), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data on our instructions.
Changes
We’ll note material changes to this policy here with a new “last updated” date.
